Version 2.2 - The Bugfix Update

This is maybe the last update because it fixes all bugs I found during my Let's Play which is finished now.
It also includes some improvements.

Changelog:
- Improved 2-5
- Improved bonusarea in 2-Castle
- Adjusted endarea of 7-2
- Adjusted endarea of 8-3
- Fixed TriggerIDs in 3-3 not getting triggered
- Fixed trapped Broozer in 4-GhostHouse
- Fixed too easy Starcoin in 4-Castle
- Fixed ground drives the wrong direction in 7-GhostHouse
- Fixed Starcoin in 4-Tower
- Fixed misplaced midway in 2-Tower
- Fixed Texturebug in 4-GhostHouse
- Fixed Flying-?-Block and Map Hammer Bro in 6-B
- Fixed Zoom and Lakitus in 7-4

I typed this in another NSMB hack thread too, patching isnt working. Im using the correct NSMB region and its a clean rom. Help?
Honestly, ive had one successful patch only, and that was a single level SM64DS rom. >.<

- 2-Castle puzzle is easier to understand
- 2-Castle Bonus Area is fixed for Mini-Mario
- Found missing coins in 6-2
- Redesigned starting area in 6-2
- Challenge Mode isn't available anymore
- a few adjustments

- 4-4 has been frozen
- 7-GH Exit is a bit more spooky

Changelog:
- fixed every bossmusic issues
- the 4-1 secret exit path glitch is fixed
- 7-castle has been modified a bit and has an more epic boss entrance
- 4-castle has been improved a bit
- 8-final castle has been fixed and finally looks like it should
- the two exit bugs in 2-3 and 7-ghost house have been fixed
- mountain decoration looks like planted on the ground

This is probably one of the best super mario mods right now, and the fact that it runs on original hardware is even better! 80 levels is a lot of levels for one guy to create, kudos to you!

Starting into the new year, I release the maybe final version of this hack containing the following:
- new soundtracks for tower and toad house
- a more fitting icon for world 5
- updated titlescreen
- easier levels (6-B isn't fireballhell anymore, 5-Tower is shorter than before, etc.)
- level design updates (removed coins leading into deathholes, single misplaced ?-blocks, etc.)
- some other fixes

I tried to patch it using Xdelta UI or something. But it doesn't work. I made sure I set everything up correctly and even in the same folder.
I get an error:
Xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_Invalid_Input

Which patcher do I need to use?

Noob question:
I'm interested in this kind of stuff (not playing, but making) and I was wondering if you could tell me what do I need in order to make this, and if the same method could be used to make brand new games.
Is required to patch a rom in order to run this?
This morning I was just playing NSMB, but it gets boring after finishing the game 5+ times.

Here's a short advice:
1. Download a NSMB (U) ROM. No other region. It's important that you dont open this ROM in any program before you patch it.
2. Open xDeltaUI and follow the steps (Source file: The NSMB ROM, the SMB The New Worlds patch, etc.)
3. Save it on your desktop and rename it to SMBTNW.nds
Since you saved it as a file without ending you have to add the ending after patching.
