Hacking Question Switch Got Banned, But I Can Still Access eShop?

Despite restoring my NAND before going to online play, the Big N caught me and banned my console.
However I can still access eshop...so it's not an account ban I'm assuming?

Maybe you just got a game ban?
Thats the only type of ban that'll result in you still being able to use the eshop afaik

And Nintendo doesn't usually ban accounts

Did you make that nand backup prior to any CFW?

Well, what did you potentially do that you think might've gotten you banned? Did you install any type of NSP file?

Yup.

No I didn't do any of that. All I did was boot into CFW.

I get an error when trying to play an online match in Splatoon 2.

I didn't go online, BUT i was not disconnected from WiFi.
I use Atmosphere btw.

Hm? I can't really find anything about that error code :/. Are you able to play any other games online besides Tetris 99 (ex. Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Fortnite, etc)? And is the copy of Splatoon 2 a legitimate digital or physical copy?

Yes I'm able to play everything else online.
And yup, 100% legit physical cart. Never dumped nor injected any saves as well.

Huh. Odd. You could try calling Nintendo Support and asking them about it I guess (and don't mention the fact you've used CFW or whatever of course )

Red flag there. I don't know the semantics behind it but I remember a thread a while back that was all about Nintendos ability to track data from your console even when offline, aka when your console has wifi enabled and is searching for wifi networks but not actually connected to one. It's why most say to delete your wifi settings and always be in airplane mode.
