Hacking Switch Informations by serial number - READ THE FIRST POST before asking questions

I can see in the display case at my local Target one with XAW700094, says that XAW700050 - XAW700127 is 2.3.0
But on the spreadsheet found someone who has XAW700092 that was 3.0.2, is it just a gamble?

At best its a gamble, but I'd bet on it being 3.0.2.

HexZyle has put a great image together (a few posts up). You'll notice that XAW700094 falls after the introduction of 3.0.0 atleast, possibly after the reported 3.0.2 console XAW7000928XXXX. Looking at the spreadsheet the last 2.3.0 reported was XAW70005XXXXXX. So from that I would bet on the console being 3.0.2

EDIT: Looks like HexZyle thinks that the 3.0.2 report might be an error, I only just started looking into this stuff recently so maybe you're in luck!

It'd be putting all your money on that 3.0 2 report being in error. XAW700 series is really tight with serials, they've produced very few consoles so there's no overlaps in firmware.

I don't think it is in error, I'm just saying the possibility exists.

I know it's just luck but can't really justify getting it

Where did that 700050 - 700127 range come from? Reports of those 2 being 2.3.0 so the middle ones should be the same?

The report of 2.3.0 at both the bottom and the top of that range both seem questionable. I think the range should be 700053 - 700055

Omg im from Canada too which walmart location did you find that???

I'm from a small town in Saskatchewan and it was the last Splatoon bundle they had anyhow. Looking at reported serials I think the Splatoon 2 Bundle has a good chance of being <= 3.0.0 (none in the spreadsheet are > 3.0.0)

I'm gonna ask to look through all of Target's stock today, i could see another that was 7000124 so they seem to be just outside of the 3.0.0 window
