So I don't know this will work because I bought the console yesterday and i saw that came with firmware 8.0.

Well, as I said, it’s a Mariko unit, so Fusée won’t work on it. If you want hacks keep it on 8.0.1:

If it’s on 8.0.1 or lower keep it there, an exploit that would allow you to run CFW with almost all features is confirmed to exist for 8.0.1. If it’s on 8.1.0 or higher you’re pretty much fucked in terms of software exploits and will have to rely on Gateway’s modchip if it ever releases.

Is there anything that will allow me to switch between cfw emunand and ofw nand without powering down the console and booting again? SX OS user, if that matters. I play games (legit carts) online occasionally, but the pain of having to reboot and inject payload (using autoRCM so as to not burn fuses) is a deterrent to doing it(I'm lazy).

XAJ7005 is probably patched, but you should test it to be sure. If it is on 4.1.0 and has never connected to the internet, it is still hackable even if it is patched.

You can reboot to Hekate from the homebrew launcher if you're using Atmosphere. I don't know or care about what's possible with SX OS.

Nope, if it’s unpatched firmware doesn’t matter, so it’s fine .
(Only exception is when a new firm releases and CFW hasn’t added support yet)

You should read the op next time. There is described that xkw and xkj (or however the numbers are) are the mariko revisions. And by the way, your console comes with the red box.
