I just now seen how this is done and yes I will be doing it but for the Nintendo switch systems that can not be hacked? Can they not make it to were you can plug them in the computer run a program that does everything without the switch system needing to be involved? like the keys that are needed from the switch are they on the nand chip?

I would, but I don't have any soldering equipment and it does not seem like a smart investment for me at the time. Separate chip costs twice as much as the board I linked. So it's not kinda feasible for me.
I saw the link if you gave, but I find it too low price for a 64GB memory plus mini board.......strange.

@leerpsp
You have no way to do it on a patched console yet....
I know this. what I asked is there not a way to do this with out a switch system needed for the process using only a pc and a EMMC reader. I think you can backup and restore the switchs nand on the chip using a reader on the pc with out it having to be in the system but the BIS keys do i need a switch to dump them because if I can do that with using just a pc then I would have no problem upgrading the nand of a non hackable switch.

If you could dump your BIS-keys on a patched console, you could probably do it, but you'd need special hardware to connect the eMMC to your computer. That said, I can't imagine why anybody would do that though - - Nintendo would probably ban you, so you could not buy any eShop games; and without a way to boot CFW, you could not install any .NSPs, so you would end up having lots of extra space with no way to use it

I think you need Easy Jtag Plus box UFS BGA 153 Sockets Adapter plus programmer where you can put eMMC memory and you can backup to boot0 and boot1 and raw nand and then write to the new eMMC.

So as of yet no one knows if they will ban for it.

Anyone know if this works for a V2 switch that has Atmosphere?
I would also like to know this as far as I know its untested but would be cool if you could do it, I forgot about nand upgrades for a about a year if not longer so Now I need to pick one up for my switch.

Yes that should definitely work. You need to dump your bis keys. But I don't know how it's work on a V2 switch.

I made an EMMC upgrade on my V1 switch.
I will also make some to order after my tests.
Probably 90 € + shipping costs for a 256gb Sandisk emmc board.

Id like one of them for my V1 Switch, I don't have the money at the moment but could do that in a month or 2 if that sounds ok.
