Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Needs to be installed or reinstalled
Uninstall it from programs and features / installed programs restart pc
Reinstall it .. download > https://www.microsoft.com/en-pk/download/details.aspx?id=48145
restart after reinstall
Run Tegra, and as admin
Then install the update If it does not work after reinstall of 2015

The error is produced due to visual c++
You may need to uninstall all visual c++ restart pc then install visual c++ again. and or just the update.

any idea why this is not working with Parallels on Mac with Windows 7 and apk drivers installed properly. I even turned on the USB 3.0 driver on Parallels settings.
It can detect that my Switch is in RCM Mode and it will say that the payload was successfully sent, but the switch will stay on black screen
is the switch in rcm mode can you confirm ?I am using TegraRcmGUI v2.4 portable and get "Error while injecting payload (RC=8)"
What does this mean?
RC = -8 => Win32 error happened trying to write payload buffer to RCMThe Switch is on older firmware 2.0.0 and in RCM mode. The cable is 3ft (1m) and is connect to a USB hub. What does the error code RC=8 indicate?
