I hate wil pokemon encounters. It takes ages to get into the real battle and when you start it's one shot kill. Not that catching it would be worth cuz it's probably a bug or bat. I rather battle other npcs with higher level pokemons. Cuz jeez is this game easy. As for abilities i don't really care.

I must be the only person who never really cared about the abilities. 99% of the time forgetting they are a thing. Same goes for the useless personality stat. Taking away the wild battles imo is the true bad decision with the let’s go games, thus far. While I was initially disappointed about hold items, I realized I never really used them either except for berries, quick claw and the never stone. Like the abilities, they are simply an easily forgettable game mechanic, just slightly less though.
