All these alternative characters remind me of the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comics and I just start to cry that they got cancelled.

Uk made Super Sonic evil, Amy wasn't useless, it didn't have romantic plot tumors and like a zillion Echidnas.

Archie Sonic worked when it was mostly comedy, not when you had filled characters steal the issue.

Slightly crossed wires there - that's Connie and Denis.

It's an easy way to visualise that they're playing a game - they assume the roles of the characters. The face markings and the hair are the hints - we've been doing this for a while now.

I know, VGCats does the same thing but... in this case It's a bit too close to Knuckles for comfort.
