Now that Iredeto, the maker of Denuvo provides swicth emulation protection, how would that affect emulation of switch games or even emulation in general in the future.

That until at least one game will release with it, it's not worth discussing in more details.
This is a paid solution, so only few publishers could decide to use it. If such game will release, I guess cracks will be a thing.

Despite the makers of the DRM always lying with claims that it doesn't affect performance, it has been notorious for trashing performance on PC releases, so hopefully game devs aren't going to want to pay for the privilege of having their game made worse on Switch where there's not much in the way of horsepower to spare.

Anything can be cracked, anyway, if the game is desirable enough. Plus any form of emulator detection can be nullified in updates of the emulator.

Copy protection very much violates your rights as (you the owner) to make a backup copy in case it ever gets damaged. Nearly every single protection measure has been defeated, and there is no guarantee that it is going to ever protect your software from the expert crackers.

There hasn't been a game released with it yet so we won't know until then, as for a fix assuming those games are popular there will probably be cracks and also depending on how it works the emulators might be updated to combat it (not Yuzu of coarse, we all know how they are) and make the games work, though it very likely would impact performance.
