It looks like the long-awaited PS4 exclusive, The Last Guardian has received yet another delay. The game was supposed to launch next month, but will now be releasing December 6th for North America, and December 9th for Europe. Producer Shuhei Yoshida made an official comment on the delay, which you can read below.

Fumito Ueda, gen DESIGN and JAPAN Studio have a wonderful vision for The Last Guardian’s touching, emotional journey of friendship and trust, and we want to deliver the most polished experience possible for our fans who have supported us for so long. A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.

Both, really. Real professional game developers can create some magic on cellphones, I tell ya h'wat. Miitomo, Square-Enix, and them Rayman games convinced me of that.

Bought a PS3 because I wanted this game. Ok the money wasn't wasted but enough time has been spent on the dev of this game now. If it does not blow SOTC and ICO away with playability and replay value what the f**k was the point. Not buying a PS4 until I know that the wait to finally play this next instalment from Team ICO was worth it.

Aside from being more powerful, having more games, having more peripheral options, VR, constant sales for to get games cheap, no "subscription" to play online, ability to host your own servers, game modding, and just general utility of having a PC that can do anything rather than just play licensed games? Nothing off the top of my head.
