To be honnest, I have absolutly no idea why such games (fifa, NHL, etc.) take so much space on hard drive.
Graphics are not that impressive
There is no scenario
The only thing you can do is play a game (soccer in Fifa, hockey in NHL, etc.)
There are no such thing as "customizable character's story" like in some RPG or MMORPG (like choosing a job, how to evolve, being good or bad, etc)
There are no such thing as sandboxing that would require advanced AI.
All you do is "choose your characters" and "fight". Commands are pretty much the same for all type of characters (in NHL for example, you would have heavier player and lighter player), such as "Press Y to pass the ball to an ally" or "Press X to score".
I don't see why such game would require over 160GB, unless they "decompressed" a non-compressed game just to say "hey look, our game is heavy. Buy it!"
