it isn't frequency, FPS is a rate, and rate or frequency are not speed.

Speed = distance / time
Rate = Occurence / time (meaning speed is a rate, not the opposite)
Frequency = 1 / time

You're only scratching the surface there:

• Ayla states to be bissexual, more than respecting. You also have Flea, a gender nonconformist;
• on FF VII, Barret, one of the playable character is implied to be gay and you can even date him. You also have Quina on IX, that is neither/both male and female;
• in San Andreas you have OG Loc, a black gay character who is mocked for having gay sex in prison but who CJ treats like one of their own and supports his rapping, despite he being awful at it.

Yeah but you know the great part of all of those is that no one goes around making a big deal about because it's just another normal thing in that world... as it should be.

The big difference is that newer things are made post cultural war BS. There needs to be a scapegoat to distract people of real issues.
