Even better, make a ram editing homebrew tool that removes the need to decrypt/calculate any checksum.
Why? Is it not more convenient to do it that way? Especially considering the decryption method probably isn't publicly available, at least from what i've seen.

The keys are baked into the assembly, which is naughty!
Looking into the (crappily) obfuscated assembly, it appears both the decryption and signing key are stored as plaintext.

The keys are stored in the NSO, you can see exactly how it stores the save.
It stores data in 4 "partitions":
"SaveDataCmn", "SaveDataVss", "SaveDataLocal" and "SaveDataMsn".
Just give it time, there will likely come a script or batch file to automate most of that for us. :3

The entire contents of the save is encrypted with an AES256 key, with a CRC checksum in the header.
