Put the first PSX Modell upright or upside down.
Build an "Tower" with Action Replay and Gamecartridge on the Super Nintendo and Sega Mega Drive.
Using an Sega Mega Drive GamePad on the Atari 800 XL.
Using the "Diskette Perforator" to make Double sided Diskettes from Single sided Diskettes.
Loading an typed Basic Game with the Atari 1010 Datasette.......and do it again after 32 Minutes because an "Error at Line 30" appeared.
Sitting beside the Black/White TV and "twiddle" on the Channel Adjuster to get a "clear" Picture on Channel 2 or 3.....

Say Zelda "three" when referring to A Link to The Past.
Calls a 1Up an "extra guy".
I call it "zelda 3" but I never called a "1up" an extra guy, I call it "a live". (or a life? well "une vie" in french)

Old gamers can ... appreciate old games even if they look ugly, because we know they are awesome and very beautiful "for their time" !
We grew up with the technology and followed advancement of everything (not only games, but TV, phones, internet, social media, etc.) yeah, we had paper gaming magazines before internet to know which game existed and what to buy next!

Expect games to be reasonably functional at launch
Expect games to have cheat codes (and said codes not to be paid DLC*)
Expect games to have local co-op/splitscreen almost by default
Expect to not have to pay for save slots
Expect multiplayer shooting games to have more than 1 mode and 3 maps
Expect to be able to swap games with a mate on their own terms (borrow this until you completed it, and then give it back, I might have that for a weekend though...)
Expect to not have to pay for online games
Expect to have a game that might actually provoke a thought rather than wimp out lest you offend just a single person out there in the world (that would likely not buy your game anyway)
Expect to have some experimental stuff just for fun even if it is not "balanced" to within a fraction of a percent of your imagined perception of balance

*I would have mentioned paid costume DLC but frankly I am counting the 9 billion versions of Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat 3 as this.

PC Related:
Call ever game controller "joystick"
Trying to end a game with "ctrl-alt-break"
Pressing all keys to see what it will do in a game
Hitting the spacebar multiple times in game
Having your face close to the screen

Console related:
Playing with cables instead of wireless
Power on the console on the console itself, not with the logo button
Ending a game in several days/weeks (if it had saves/passwords) instead of a few hours/few days
Turning on my console and expecting my game i want to play start up asap and play asap
(Not scrolling through the list or swapping cd or quick scroll to the online store, cause you had a notification of some action online)
(or waiting for a system update/game update you need to download before you can play)

Not having to buy a new controller after a few months of havy duty button bashing

Wonder why the hell people would choose to watch someone else play a game on the Internet, instead of buying it and enjoying the damn thing without having it ruined first.
In some cases I can see it being the equivalent of a rental just to say you experienced it/saw what it was about.
