Hardware Think I Got Sold a Brick

The system won't boot past the white playstation logo, no warning popup or anything.

It'll stay on that white logo for a WHILE and then just, go black.

I CAN boot to the safe menu, but database rebuild, system restore, do nothing. Updating via USB just tells me I have the latest firmware already installed.

When I do a System Restore, the little circle pops up for half a second, goes back to the logo, and does nothing.

Database rebuild just goes to a black screen, ps logo, nothing.

Try holding L while booting up to run with plugins disabled, if all else fails try reinstalling newest firmware through ps3 or qcma

When I try installing the firmware from QCMA, it just keeps saying I have the latest firmware already.

Make sure you're trying 3.73 firmware, and make sure setting in qcma are correct along with xml correctly set up
