Gaming Transfer save from single MGS HD game to MGS HD Collection

On Vita, can you transfer your save file of MGS 2 HD to the version of MGS2 bundled in the MGS HD Collection? Can Vitashell be a help?

I would like to ask for the process that you took to do so. I've been trying to migrate my digital MGS3 game save to a hard copy of MGS2/3 bundle. I've uploaded the save data to my PSN, but the card will not recognize the save. Both verisons of the games are (or should be) North American region.
