Hi. So, I have two Switches -- one banned, and one legit. The banned Switch is where all my progress in New Horizons is saved, and since it's banned, I can't utilize the save transfer update Nintendo has implemented. I was wondering if it's actually stored on the SD card or the system itself, and hopefully there's a way someone has devised a way to transfer save data manually. Both versions of ACNH on both of my systems are 1.6.0. The stock firmware on the banned system is at 10.2.0, while the legit system is at 11.0.1. Could anyone help with my predicament?

Download and use the official free animal crossing save tool?

On the legit one from the eshop

On the banned one from the somewhere in the internet. Tinfoil or so.

Worked for me like a charm

Okay, well, I'm looking into Tinfoil, but here-in lies the problem;

My ACNH save is on the stock firmware on the banned Switch. Not the CFW.

Ohhhh okay. And the Homebrew Save Manager "JKSV" detect your save?
Do you have Stock firmware banned an on top an Emu Nand installed?

So your save is on stock sys and not on the emu sys? Have not much expierience on such case. But I would try to install JKSV and check if somehow there is a possibility to "transfer".

And even when it is on stock. Why not starting "on banned" stock the JKSV with homebrew Launcher (I mean you are already banned) and Backup it with JKSV. After that start your emu nand - restore with JKSV and after that launch the official transfer app and move from emu nand to other switch.

I'm pretty sure you can't install Homebrew on stock firmware.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change
