I have the save data for super Mario rpg from the wii's in house emulator on my sd card but when I try to convert the data.bin file into a .srm file it doesnt work. Please help
Use SaveGame Manager GX to extract the data.bin, there will be 2 files I think, one is "banner.bin", the other file is your save. rename that other file to gamename.srm and it should work
I remember a few years back, I managed to convert saves from Zelda ALTTP, Mario RPG and some N64 saves (Mario Tennis with GBC characters, Mario 64 and Zelda OOT), from the emulators to the Virtual Console.
I don't remember if I needed any hex editing, but I'm sure I used SaveGame Manager to do the process, so I imagined doing the reverse would work.
