But ... but .. I can .. I guess.. https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-snake-port-lovepotion.498467/ ... :wtf:

:P

But even as programmer I think RPGMaker MV is a cool thing :D

Nice! Yeah indeed it is pretty great, C2/C3 are also amazing tools. Now if we only got a HTML5 wrapper (NW.JS / Cordova etc.) for Switch that would be amazing... Wii U / 3DS had Nintendo Web Framework, Nintendo told me they have no plans to include it on Switch when I asked a shame really... but I am sure we will get one in the homebrew scene eventually...

Btw.. do you mean they work native speed.. no frame drops and slowmotion ??
Would be awesome ..!!

Yeah if you make something with a few sprites and low res textures to keep memory usage down most stuff runs good, I think it is a memory limitation of the browser applet.

if anyone wants to put together a list of working html/js games we will happily add the links directly to the DNS server

Are you able to host them? I can pump out a few light titles with SwitchbruDNS branding (as in the games UI will match the SwitchbruDNS menus etc.) if you want, smaller infinite jumpers, pong etc. if you start adding a large list make sure to do quality control, all the games should run in full screen etc.

So I was looking into this to see if it would be possible to swap the controls of some of the html5/JavaScript games I have found and came across this

http://www.wiiubru.com/gp.html

This will allow us to see the input from the joycons when using html5/JavaScript

Code:
Button 1: B
Button 2: A
Button 3: Y
Button 4: X
Button 5: L
Button 6: R
Button 7: LZ
Button 8: RZ
Button 9: Minus
Button 10: plus
Button 11: left stick (press)
Button 12: right stick (press)
Button 13: DPAD up
Button 14: DPAD down
Button 15: DPAD left
Button 16: DPAD right
Stick 1: left analogue
Stick 2: right analogue

I don't have the knowledge to be able to use these to edit the source of an existing html5 game to see if it works but hoping someone with better understanding could look at it

Edit:

Just found this also
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Gamepad_API/Using_the_Gamepad_API
Looks like it may be worth a read until someone points me in the right direction

Edit2:

I actually found a few games that implements the controls

One fine day
https://wolod.itch.io/one-fine-day

Random: save the bad Princess
https://gamejolt.net/?token=PXaHQV96cQBFasH65rQXbsizpKvEGy (Have to wait for loading but can go full screen on this one, lots of controls with on screen prompts)

(Removed old link due to other game not working)
