Hacking updated luma3ds and now 3ds won't come on

i'm on old3ds and decided to check to see if luma needed an update since its been awhile since i checked for an update. now it won't turn on. goes on like a second and now won't turn on. and also how would i if possible use my backup it made. if its a payload can you please get me the payload. much appreciated. hoping someone on here knows how to fix the not turning on thing.

It is likely that you haven't updated to B9S 1.2. Luma3DS 8.0 requires B9S 1.2 to work. If you want to troubleshoot, download the Luma3DS 7.1 boot.firm here and replace the one on your SD card with it. If it works, then I'm correct.

If you want to update B9S to 1.2 so it will work with Luma3DS 8.0, follow this guide.

Yes, copy boot.firm to the SD card, replacing the one already there.

well it loaded now. ty. and i couldn't exactly understand where in that guide you linked me to use to update the b9s to 1.2 so i just left it. *shakes, and i need a stiff drink. that was scary*

If you want to update to Luma3DS 8.0 or any newer versions of Luma3DS that come out, you need to update to B9S 1.2 following the guide I linked to.

well once i find some knowledgable idea to do it. because the guide is the one i used to install b9s.
