Just installed the latest modmii from this site, works great!
Installed it on a PAL wii with a Wiikey modchip.

But I've got a few questions.

I've prepared 2 harddisks (Hitachi 250 Gb + WD 80 Gb), and put 2 iso's on it.
Ive used several tools to format and copy the iso's. Tried FAT32 and NTFS

I go to the "USB Loader" channel and press "start" or, in my case "beginnen" (dutch).
I see the light on the harddisk blink a few times, so the Wii is communicating with the harddisk.
But after a few seconds the Wii (crashes and) boots. I can't get any further then the USB Loader splash screen (the one with the "modded" Wiimote).

Is this known behaviour for incompatible drivers or am I doing something wrong?
I don't know what the symptoms are when using a incompatible drive.

I will get 2 other external Hdd's today to test some more.

I currently don't have more information and details because I am not at home.
will follow if necessary.

Edit: Just read this:
"Your drive MUST be connected in de USB slot closer to the outside edge of the wii"
Didn't know that, but tried both ports yesterday, I will only use this port in de future.

I have the same problem as the TS. I'm using configurable usb loader instead, and it works and boots games fine when launched from the homebrew channel. however the forwarder channel behaves like the TS described. i've checked the path (/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol) and i'm not sure what to do.

if i don't want to switch to usb loader gx to fix the problem like the TS did, what should I do?
