One of the more pleasant aspects I've had when discussing the switch in these forums is the discussion of which games they would LIKE to see come to the switch. So in that case, I ask GBAtemp, what 5 games would YOU like to see come to the switch? It can be first party or third party. I won't be listing much if any 3rd parties myself as the list would extend too long.
1. Monster Hunter: I've spent 1000s of hours playing the hunter genre of games. As nintendo seems to be the exclusive holder of the newer MH games, I would buy a switch SOLELY for a new hunter game. I mean I already have a switch, but if I didn't...
2. Luigi's Mansion: One of the gems I massively enjoyed on gamecube. There wasn't too much like it back in the day, and the sequel Dark Moon was one of the reasons I bought a 3DS. I'd love to see a Luigi's Mansion 3 for the switch.
3. Metroid Prime: Another series I enjoyed. Originally was skeptical when I first heard of it, as the Metroidvania genre was all I could think of when it came to Metroid. I was proven wrong entirely. Although the Metroid Prime collection remastered would be great, I would much rather have a brand new Metroid Prime game.
4. Golden Sun: I always have an itch to play traditional JRPGs on a portable (even if Nintendo wants the switch to be a home console first and foremost, I will always consider it as a portable), and while I know Dragon Quest X and XI will be coming over, there's something about the Golden Sun series that Dragon Quest games just doesn't have. I can't describe it well. Atmosphere? Charm? Anyways...
5. F-Zero: I was in love with the series ever since I played the original on the SNES. The music and setting really appeal to me, even now. F-Zero X and GX just added to my fandom. Great visuals, great soundtrack, awesome speed, amazing track designs, and a higher difficulty that caters to the masocore gamer in me. Fast RMX showed us that a great F-Zero game is very possible on a Switch.
Of course, there's a lot more I'd like to see, but I limited it down to 5 to see what people truly wanted on the switch.
