What Companies are good at milking a series?

I can't decide between Activision and EA, so I say both!

Nintendo of course, 25 years and counting. Which is not a bad thing and the difference is that they don't release one each year, so people have their time to play their games, let them sink in and create hype for them.

I should have clarified, I was mainly refering to the good franchises, like Zelda or Metroid. Pokemon usually falls in the middle class to me.

I have to admit, I can't stand AC but a CoD game every once in a while is ok. Except Ghosts, obviously.

the real questions is:

if a company is not good a milking a series.. how many months before they bankrupt?

Any company that makes games that have any plural words in the title ending in 'z'.

Koei with Warriors games.

At best? Nintendo with their Marios, Zeldas, Mario Karts and Smashs.

But just because they're reusing their popular franchises it doesn't mean they just do the same for every game, Mario games usually have different styles of gameplay (Sunshine, Galaxy, 3D World, etc).

Then at worst? Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors reskinned which play exactly the same for every game but with different series' characters.
