Hardware What Ever Happened to the Coloured Wiis?

When the Wii was first announced, wasn't it going to be available in different colors?
There was green, black, red, silver etc.
Whatever happened to those?

Nintendo said that producing enough of the white one was hard enough, and other colors would just hinder the maximum they could produce.

Of course I think they only planned one color in the beginning and just used the other colors as a way to gain interest in the upcoming system...

I remember them saying something about releasing new colored Wii's, and that they'll be cheaper and play DVD movies...

Except at night. I can't even stand the blue light from my cooler! It's brighter than the disc LED and it's shade of blue is different so it kinda looks FUGLY.

As to the topic, I just bought myself a skin and am very happy with it.

Just photoshopped pics - they dont even look real unless you have load of high powered lights shining on them for effect.
Not saying people are believing these exist but they wont look as good as that.

Well this is my black wii:

Replaced the case with XCM II-Case Black Knight, looks very good.

Although, I wasnt liking the Chuckii cases so i've reverted them back to the default white ones.
