Homebrew What happened to most of the developers?

I think the worst case of the "cancerous 3DS scene" was when JustPingo announced his project, Kernal Time Machine (I think thats what it was called)
and users were drooling over it. He set a a release date but couldn't meet it and the immature kids on here made entire threads on bashing him. I haven't seen him
since then.
