Hardware What is the % of getting a 3DS with a yellowed screen?

I'm going out to get mine tomorrow, finally found one with the right serial for a gateway and I am worried about yellowed screens. Is earlier better? I have a choice between two purple ones both starting with CW421 and they're both brand new. Is this really luck of the draw?

my xl has a yellowish screen, but it makes screen colours more vivid. I like it! serial SW1XXXXXXXX

while my other 3ds has more washed out colours (brighter, smaller, whiter screen).

Had two launch XL. One had a screen that was clearly more yellow than the other. So don't think early/later matters, just luck.

Reminds me of launch era original DS, people were concerned about having a touchscreen that was either (very slightly) blurry or gridded.

more likely on an XL. I have not seen a yellowish normal 3DS screen. I have seen ones with a purple or bluish tint when it comes to the normal 3DS but when it comes to the XL, i have seen more yellowish tint models then anything else

I must've hit the jackpot, the screens on mine look identical and really damn nice.
