Seems like you've tried pretty much everything, the only thing left I can think of to try is this: https://github.com/AnalogMan151/Lazarus3DSI used the torrent provided by 3ds.guide

What guide exactly did you follow when you first tried hacking and bricked it?
It should be included in the files the guide asks you to download, I don't really remember. If followed the 3ds.guide soundhax when a9lh was a thing.
Question, where do you find a sighax_hdr.bin? Is it apart of SafeB9SInstaller?
It should be included in the files the guide asks you to download, I don't really remember.
But no links. I guess it's Google time...
- Prepared donor ctrnand.bin, nand_hdr.bin, twln.bin, twlp.bin files & SHAs for your console (o3DS / n3DS + USA / EUR / JPN + retail / dev).
- A clean sector0x96.bin, boot9strap.bin, sighax_hdr.bin & SHA for your type of console (retail / dev).
- A copy of twlmbr.bin & SHA
You realize that by no links, that it means both on here and in pms. Right?I'm in the same boat but that guide does not have any links (unless I'm missing something?). It says it needs 8 bin files:

If anyone knows where I can easily aquire those files for n3DSxl PM me!
Bad news.
I ran Lazarus correctly. It did NOT fix my black screen glitched n3ds xl.
It might, but a system update would fix it. Try deleting the home menu applet and updating via recovery mode.Does this have anything to do with the homemenu, would I have to install a homemenu.cia???
It's the boot.firmA couple years ago, I bricked my 2DS when I tried to install CFW; thankfully, my friend unbricked it with ntrboot. I can access Godmode9 but I cannot access my home menu. What do I do, I can't find any home menus and I don't know how to install it.
Thanks.
It's the boot.firm
delete "boot.firm" and the luma folder off your sdcard, then boot your 2ds. Now it will still be black so now go back to your sdcard and put the latest "boot.firm" on it. Make the luma folder again and then put all your payloads and all that. Now yboot your 3ds. It should work now.
how would I delete the home menu applet? It might, but a system update would fix it. Try deleting the home menu applet and updating via recovery mode.
What region is your system?It didn't ):
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
how would I delete the home menu applet?
Delete the folder: 1:/title/Americas(usa)
Delete the folder: 1:/title/

Note: this is at your own risk; make a NAND backup first!!
Then use Recovery Mode to do a system update.
Did you update with Recovery Mode?It didn't work, but when I tried to turn off the 2ds, I got this.View attachment 131348
hen it turned off
