Well, I've recently thought about getting a new flashcart for my DSlite, since I've been using an R4 ever since I received my DS, which was like 5 years ago. I would prefer a cart that has an in-game-menu that allows real-time-guide. I looked up Supercard DS one, but the microSD speed is highly depended upon.

Class is gonna matter somewhat regardless of which flash cart you get at this point due to wanting the real time guide option. It isn't really important though. I'll touch on that a little further down.

I would suggest the Supercard DSTwo. It comes with the features you want with lots of nice extras. It runs about $35 from most places.

For the MicroSD card, I would suggest about an 8gb Class 4 Sandisk. The Class 4 is to guarantee everything works as it should, though you can always go to Class 6 if you want to be really safe. Pretty sure upwards of a Class 6 is unnecessary though...

The brand of MicroSD isn't super important, but sticking with either a Sandisk or Transcend (I guess Transcend is fairly popular too) guarantees good quality for the most part.

I own a DS2, and am quite satisfied with it. So far, I have onl had an issue with one game ever (WW DIY). The Dstwo mayseem expensive, but it is completely worth it. It has a processor in it that will allw you to play unpatched games, arcade games(MAME) , and even emulaate some older console(SNES, GBA).
