I've been seeing a ton of pro-socialism posters stuck to bus stops, pedestrian crossing poles, and other surfaces in Sydney's inner city, over the last month or so, and I don't know why anyone would want socialism over democracy; when I think of 'socialism", I can't help but think of the freedom-less hellhole that was the USSR, not to mention the atrocities carried out by Germany's National Socialist Party 90 years ago.
What's so advantageous about socialism, that people would be putting up posters supporting this shit? I just don't understand.
