For me Rival Schools on the Playstation is on number one.

For the rest I really like Soul Calibur, Soul Blade, Tekken 1 and Bloody Rear 3.

If Smash Bros counts, then I'm going with Smash Bros Brawl. It's the one I have the most nostalgia for, and memories with, the one I still enjoy playing with friends the most to this day, and my go-to whenever I'm in a smash-y mood.

However, if we're talking games excluding Smash Bros.. I love JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, specifically the Dreamcast version. It's the main thing I use my DC for anymore. My second favorite is 100% Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter, the arcade one. So much time poured into that.

Everyone should try Tatsunoko vs Capcom on the Nintendo Wii. Clearly my fav fighting game of all time.

Pip'

Looking into that now.

i'm really surprised that no one named Killer Instinct.
It's by far my favorite VS fighting game. I discovered it on SNES, then i could buy both KI1 and KI2 arcade cabinets.
KI1 is clearly the best, musics are awsome.

My opinion is so important, I have to give out awards. :creep:
Best gameplay: SF Alpha 2
Best content: Smash Ultimate
Best music: SSF2 New Challengers (specifically SNES PAL version)
Best intro: Tatsunoko vs Capcom (specifically Japanese original)
Best animations: SF3: Third Strike
Most played: Smash Wii U

memorable mentions: Smash Melee (that jump momentum with Falcon! No idea why they removed run->jump momentum),
Soul Calibur 2, Power Stone, International Karate, Yie Ar Kung-Fu, Cap vs SNK 2

The first I ever played was Yie Ar Kung Fu on my BBC Micro, so I have a soft spot for that. I also enjoyed Way Of The Exploding Fist a lot.

One of my favourite games of all time is IK+ so I would usually pick that. I've also owned a Killer Instinct 2 arcade cab in the past and it was spectacular. Never been much of a Mortal Kombat player (although I liked the first movie a lot).

I think it's hard to vote for anything above SF2 though. There just hadn't been another fighter (or game in general) that took such a stranglehold on a generation at the time.

SF2 in 1991 and MK1 in 1993 for me when i was in the arcades during their release. Great times then.

Atm, MK11 isn't bad and is a vast improvement over the 50/50 vortex and heavy rushdown that MKX was.

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
