Besides what will I do if the disc doesn't read properly ? I'm not very fond of the idea.......

You know I used to have a GC, and when I sold it I kept my GC controller AND the memory cards ( sadly I didn't get much for the little cube by itself, but it's OK ).
Somehow though I managed to miss this game the first time it came around you know..I was so busy playing Animal Crossing and Zelda WW !
But now I'll be able to play it, and cheap ! But that lack of 480p really bothers me, you know I tried other games in 480i and they look awful on my LCD even more so the dark ones!

Just get the re-released Wii version/port ! That's right , Dude A will be able to play it straight out of the box with the Wii remote or classic controller and no need of extra memory cards, and Dude C can play it in 480p finally and can even use his old school GC controller for that nostalgic feel !

I red on the internet that there is no extra content whatsoever , it's exactly the same game as before ( albeit with 480p now ). Why should I get it ? True it was a really food game, but I'll be damned if I spend one penny of my hard earned cash to make this Game Companies pigs get any richer...I mean come on, it must have been extremely cheap for them to port this game over and not even properly remake it with Wii specific controls and RE4 perspective ! So the story is............there is a lot of hate regarding those older games ported to the Wii.....but I say it's alright, keep 'em coming.
They have their market after all.
Besides to the average Joe, a shelf full of Wii games ( and the all have good looking covers after all ) gives a positive image for the console
If there are a lot of games for it, the console must be very popular , and well supported, right ? And casual Joe can't even tell the difference between high/low profile games anyway....
The companies bring out a lot of games, there is a lot of variety, the console looks good and people are gonna buy it.
The more people buys it the bigger the user base will become and maybe those aforementioned companies will invest more money and eventually release better games to sell even more, after all it's all about business and numbers.
And that in turn will be a win win situation for the end user as well.
If you don't like the game, don't buy it, let average Joe get it for him or his nephew, or collect dust on the shelves.
It's still good and healthy for the Wii.
It's useless to complain about those ports, good games will come, don't worry !

They have their market after all.
Besides to the average Joe, a shelf full of Wii games ( and the all have good looking covers after all ) gives a positive image for the console
If there are a lot of games for it, the console must be very popular , and well supported, right ? And casual Joe can't even tell the difference between high/low profile games anyway....
The companies bring out a lot of games, there is a lot of variety, the console looks good and people are gonna buy it.
The more people buys it the bigger the user base will become and maybe those aforementioned companies will invest more money and eventually release better games to sell even more, after all it's all about business and numbers.
And that in turn will be a win win situation for the end user as well.
If you don't like the game, don't buy it, let average Joe get it for him or his nephew, or collect dust on the shelves.
It's still good and healthy for the Wii.
It's useless to complain about those ports, good games will come, don't worry !
