if you go into system settings, does it say anything next to your firmware? Also do you have arm9loaderhax?Hi all,
I installed a CFW on my new 3DS a long time ago and i didn't remember which one I installed ...
Is there a way to find wich version I installed ?
Thanks !
Honestly, luma is your best option. To test if you have it, hold select before booting. You'll get a luma menu if it's installed. If you don't have it, get it, and if you do have it, you're probably not on the latest version. The easiest way to install it is downloading the luma updater from homebr3w.No it doesn't say anithing next to my firmware version, just the version number : Ver. 11.2.0-35-E
I have arm9loaderhax but I don't know which CFW I installed ( Reinand,Cakefw,Luma3ds ... ). I try to find the cfw I installed in order to update it.
Are you using Arm9LoaderHax or EmuNAND?I found out that the CFW I was using was CakeFW.
Is it the best CFW for my New3DS or should I go for Luma3DS ?
If it's the second, do you guys have a guide to follow to switch from one CFW to another ?
Thanks !
You should put the old boot.3dsx back, or you won't be able to use HBL.Arm9LoaderHax i think, I can hold button before boot to access cart dumper, decrypt9 etc ...
I downloaded the latest version of Luma here: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Copied the arm9loaderhax.bin at the root of my sd card
Copied the 3ds folder on my sd card
Copied Luma3DS.dat at the root
and also copied boot.3dsx at the root ( made a backup of the previous one before )
And now I have access to luma config while holding select before boot and I am now able to update it through the luma updater that I downloaded with Homebr3w ( thanks @Giodude )
If you'd have followed https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-upgrade you would have seen only the arm9loaderhax.bin was needed.Yes true, I did not saw that the HBL wasn't working anymore, thanks @The Real Jdbye !
