Interesting how: the domain is still registered to France, new moderators initials spell APRIL, and that the advert on the front page is entitled 'CNET Advert'...fishy.

I'm pretty sure it's a joke. A nice joke, in fact. But, what annoys me is when a prank gets busted and the prankster still tries to shove it down your throat.

This is pretty obvious. If you've paid attention over the past, this is something that was nurtured by Shaun and Costello, and they vowed never to 'sell out' I think the whole concept of this is poking fun at some other sites.

Besides, why would C|Net be partnered with a site that predominantly updates it's users on ROM releases, hacks and borderline piracy issues? That's bad for business.
