Hi there,

my Wii is in 4.1 E and is one of the first systems sold in Japan, so my drive isn't locked for playing backups.

So I test neogamma and gc backup launcher and I've got this error each time : error 1208.

And here is my syscheck :

Gamecube backup loaders are not compatible with modchip. I don't know why but they expect a backup and they get a "legit" game due to the chip telling the console it's legit, so it doesn't work.

But in this case, you should be able to run your backup directly from the disc channel (or GeckoOS for example).
You could also disable your modchip if possible as you don't really need it anymore.

I don't have a modchip, I was talking about the D2 (or other number) chip, as they can"t read backup discs. But I've got one of the first japanese Wii model, so it's not the problem.

It may be my burned dvds ? Sony dvd+r.
