Gaming Why Is Aaron's DNS Trick Working Flawlessly On Kmeaw's CFW 3.55?

I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth but, why is this working on my PS3? I vaguely recall this not working on OFW 3.42. Does this not work on OFW (greater than or equal to) 3.55?... and maybe only on CFWs?

I dunno. Apparently my friend got it working on his PS3 too, as well, using Kmeaw's CFW.

I don't see how/why but I am not complaining.

Amazing! SSF4 private matches are working, as are private and public AC:Brotherhood matches! I have just graduated this from a "trick" to a "legitimate workaround."

If Sony knows your running cfw, and is simply waiting for a good time to swing the banhammer en masse, I wouldn't say the DNS trick is working flawlessly.
