Gaming Why is my HDD being stupid?

Hey there, I noticed recently my HDD isn't saving my games. For NCAA 08 "I get "Unable to Save" and for
FIFA it Won't load a save that looks like it's there. (The save date say 11/10/2005) and I just made that save yesterday.
It can recall and save my achievements but thats it.

What's wrong? Anyone know?
and would reformating help?
Of so I lose my Gamerscore and profiles right?

sounds like the HDD is dying. Im sorry there really isnt much you can do aside from buying a new one. You would not lose your gamerscore if youre connected to Live though, and your profile is saved through Live also, you just need to restore it when you get your new drive.

Alright. If I create a Silver LIVE account it'll save it correct? Also I plan on Flashing this 360 next month, Connecting to LIVE wont ruin anything correct?

Yes. correct. Just, restore your profile through Live BEFORE you mod your console. Also, I would advise against buying used HDDs, because they do have the potential to flag your console if they came from a banned console, meaning a potential insta-ban.

Also, stay away from Live if at all possible after you mod your console.
