Wiimmfi (or other server) via NitroHax!

Guide for Wiimmfi via NitroHax

HUGE WARNING: DO NOT GO INTO THE WFC CONFIG SECTION ON POKEMON GAMES OR SOFT RESET (White screen then gameload). THIS RESETS THE CODEHANDLER.

You will need:
- A 2DS/3DS that is using Luma 6.0.1 Dev (just install dev via Luma3DSUpdater if you are not using dev)
- A game that works on Wiimmfi (ex. Pokemon Gen4)
- Patched TWL_FIRM (https://github.com/PokeAcer549/twl_firm_patcher)
- A cheats.xml that has HTTP codes in (I have one at https://github.com/PokeAcer549/wiimmfi-cheatcodes - please contribute if you can!)
- NitroHax's CIA - http://gbatemp.net/threads/nitrohax-homebrew-action-replay-alternative-now-working-as-a-cia.438638/
- FBI
- WEP Internet (mobile hotspot works)

First, install Luma 3DS Dev 6.0.1, and then download the CXI from my repo for your DS (2DS == O3DS). Then, remove "n3ds_"/"o3ds_" and place in SD:/luma/sysmodules (make the folder).
Next, copy my Wiimmfi XML to your SD roo, and install NitroHax's CIA.
Insert your game cart and start NitroHax :3
Set your DNS to 185.82.21.64/46.4.79.141 (Wiimmfi) or 104.131.93.87 (AltWFC), and connect.

FAQ:
- I get a whitescreen!
You need to install the correct CXI on Luma Dev.
- It shows all the codes!
Your cart isn't in the list, or it's been inserted before the app has loaded.
- It doesn't load!
If your game isn't in the known issues list, PM me and/or shutterbug

Known issues:
- Pokemon B/W/B2/W2 (and some other hybrid DSi games) do not work: Will be fixed at a later date.
- 8MB save chip games do not work: Currently being fixed by shutterbug.

Credits:
- shutterbug2000 for porting NitroHax to 3DS :D

NOTE:
Nightly build of retail luma now has TwlBg.cxi support. If you have it, TwlBg.cxi goes to SD://luma folder. ;)

You can but the real ones that actually work cost SO MUCH MONEY
(And you have to use my DNS 185.82.21.64 as the 46.4.79.141 wont work and will interrupt your regular internet)

Then you're being blocked by Wiimmfi; looking at your name it seems to remind me of someone who was blocked for hacking MKW. Perhaps you shouldn't have done so ;)

Why not they just mine Monero instead of scamming vulnerable people? If they have a decent machine they can hit a jackpot at any given time.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Bitcoin on the other hand, requires a very powerful mining rig and is more costly.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, different cultures so probably they have their reasons

    Yes a $2,000 rig for $5 a day
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Or could be in correlation to laws.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Technically, cryptocurrencies aren't illegal, as long as you don't use it for criminal activity. If you sign up with an exchange, and that they get a tip from law enforcement, they have the right to freeze your assets.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, Yea I heard law is vastly different there
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Nigeria's central bank did make crypto illegal before, until last year they lifted the ban. Always make sure to check before you exchange. ;)

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, speaking of crypto i remember reading about a guy who spend like 10 grand bitcoin on a couple pizzas (when bitcoin wasnt as worthy as nowadays)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's mental. If he had saved up when Bitcoin sky-rocketed in price, then he might've become the next Jeff Bezos for all I know.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, he couldnt know the price was gonna skyrocket anyway
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Then it dropped sometime in 2022, 2021 was when it really went up in price.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, I also recall watching a video of some failed games with their own crypto currency or smth like that, lemme link it to you (it's in spanish tho)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I remember that. Didn't Steam ban games with NFTs before somehow devs managed to circumvent it? Think EA tried to dabble in NFTs too.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Glad to hear people realise that NFTs aren't worth it these days. They realise that they're JPEGs hosted on a file-hosting site like AWS or Google Drive.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Atleast it has captions
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Meta also tried to create their own crypto, but that fell through.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Was called Libra, they had around 100 employees and wanted to hire more near to end of the year.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, idk why facebook tried to do that metaverse thing if mmo games already existed before
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
And Yea I refuse to call it meta
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I refuse to call it Meta, too. It's a stupid name.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, then why did you call it like that a minute ago?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I don't get why Facebook ever wanted to dabble into virtual reality, when other companies were doing it.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Just to emphasize on what I mean.
