Is it okay to download WiiScrubbed games?
The file size is much smaller.

I will be using a D2E Wiikey 2 + WiiClip

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Why didn't you just "Search"it's a good thing to do.....

Scrubbed games is just a tool that removes unnesasary data files and creates a smaller archive, therefore the game could be 700mb archive, once UNZIPPED 4.7gb

My question is really:
Can I just burn the "Scrubbed" ISO directly without running it through WiiScrubber first?
Would the load times be affected?

WTF, if your DOWNLOAD has been SCRUBBED, it is in a or /many archives, select one and UNZIP it to anywhere, you have to unzip before burning! otherwise how could the wii read a data file?

You don't need to unscrub a scrubbed image, you can burn it normally and it'll work, whether you have a modchip or softchip or fish 'n' chips.

Supposedly if you burn the uncompressed image, it'll make load times faster because the data is pushed to the edge of the disk and more data can be read faster.
Some kind of propaganda like that, I remember there was a thread on that to lower read times in some games.

Loading times are not affected at all. All you need to know is to extract the rar files and burn the game. Try searching the forums rather than making a new topic.

What are we talking about here?

Specifically talking about DOWNLOADED games.

In other words, GTFO. Piracy is not allowed here.
No, this is a subject about WiiScrubber and it's implementation on game isos. WiiScrubber is endorsed on this website, there is nothing about piracy here.
GBATemp is where Backup Loaders are releases as well, why would you think this topic constitutes as piracy.
Half the topics on Wii Hacking are about backup loaders and pirating games, if you don't like that then why do you use this website

Don't get me wrong, I know all about RAR's and unzipping.

I just read somewhere that you should "Unscrub" or put the junk files back on the ISO before burning and playing them.

Of course, you can't burn RARs!

But, apparently, I can just burn the Scruubed ISO.
