Hacking Will starting Animal crossing through gecko restart the wii clock ever

I know gecko resets your wii clock (well, not really reset, but just ket ut start again). Will this be the same evey time I play animal crossing?
I started a character yesterday and rover said it was 1 januari 2000. I put the real time, but I didn't save because I had to go to bed and I couldn't save yet. So today I'd like to know if using gecko won't make a problem when playing AC.

Using Wiigator's backup launcher, I've never had this problem at all.
