Hacking Will the R4 Work with the Newer games?

I wanna get a R4 for my little Sis and i was wanting to know if they would work
This is the R4

and the Latest Firmware is R4 v1.18 kernel( 2008-04-24 )

don't get an R4,just don't,as well as with M3 DS Simply,also i read somewhere this was made by the M3 team in one thread i posted on,if that person sees this,no it was not made by the M3 team/gbalpha

if your going on budget then Acekard should do,trust me even if R4's are cheap they well,crap,you could use YSMenu if your really going to buy it,as long as we get updates on DSTT(which,i don't recommend you buying either)YSMenu gets updates on newer games

well my mom is paying for it but then i saw when the firmware was last updated(I found a newer one on Filetrip, 1.25) and wasnt sure if newer games would work...

I already told her the Current Price...
I can change the price but not alot if i can find a 2 gig bundle on that site it would be nice...

never buy flashcart and memory card bundles
they almost always rip you off compared to retail sites like newegg and amazon (im talking about the actual microsd card here)

And would normal R4 Themes work with YSMenu???

I hated Editing The themes I Downloaded from Ndsthemes just to get it to work with my R4(Sold it last week Because my sis doenst need a SDHC R4 (Got my full money Back))

Get an AceKard 2i. Not an AK2.1, those have problems saving.

Supercard only if you can afford it. Apparently they have regular updates (less problems) BUT they are more to the expensive side.
