do you believe they are working on a fully functional emulator for gc/wii?

i'd honestly care more about that then the capability of playing backups....

(tx won't waste their time porting dolphin or making a gc/wii emulator)

A port of dolphin is already in the works, there would be no need for TX to make a new one. Would be a waste of resources and time imo.

That port is likely for Lakka, not for Horizon or TX (which itself is running on Horizon IIRC).

TX does NOT need to develop the emulator, it'll take time, and money, and they'll more than likely want you to pay for it lol.

But I think we will see some form of Gamecube/Wii emulation on the switch probably in the form of ROM injection like the 3DS. We just need to wait for Ninty to port over Mario Galaxy HD from the nVidea Shield.
