Hacking Will we get a nintendo 64 emulator on the 3DS anytime soon?

Hey, just a simple question; do you think we could get a nintendo 64 emulator for the 3DS at all anytime in the new future, and do you think it'd work well? Some of my favorite games are on the N64 and would love to have them on the go without spending a bajillion $$$ on some custom made handheld n64 that has the risk of needing to be sent back for repairs every now and then.
