if everything worked in Linux I would use Linux and same can be said for macOS

but in terms of best windows version, i would say 7 in terms of it the best and still usable today and xp aren't. but since support is stopped for 7, would u choose 8.1 over 10? why?

Many users dislike the Windows 8.1 interface, and it loses support in a few years. Windows 10 will be supported indefinitely, so it is recommended.

Could I put the Windows 10 tool on my Vista, and run it on there? Because I found out when the error pops up, I can press Shift + F10, and It brings up CMD.






Also, I have Hiren's BootCD version 13.1, could I do anything with that too?

Have you tried my solution? The stupid procedure of leaving only 1 RAM stick in and trying again works A LOT.

Try that first, but you can use a tool called Rufus to make a bootable USB out of the ISO.

Rufus sucks, it can't split >4gb files to work with FAT32 and NTFS usb sticks don't work with secure boot. I ended up creating a bootable usb stick manually instead.

He knows about the issue & how to fix it, but won't.
