Not sure if someone else already said that, but in the first post at Images progress, you wrote "Heros" instead of "Heroes" :V

it seems some texts in .rodata(one of the code.bin section) also aren't used in-game. more like names of some options from the actual game project source codes...

Example:
with reference: (called by other instructions)

Some of those names are keywords for the game itself, some text is partial in one part and merged with something on other parts, it's a mess in a reality

r u using the code.bin from OP?
try offset 139e10

idk how u manage to deal with this game’s crappy file system..:bow:

recommend you use ida to locate strings, then use wxmedit or winhex to edit.:D

to remove the update nag for the game.
the minor and micro version number for repacking v1.3 cia are 5 and 0 respectively.

Why the xeno trunks when you go to the lobby is translated and when you enter in a battle is in japanese?

which means there are multiple name strings.
it's very common in this game. use multiple same resources when one is enough. this game is an arcade port, and devs did a really bad job.:mellow:

Do you know what the specific file is? And another question, is the .lua file located in the game or in the update?
