Gaming wireless to wired help

when i try to charge my rechargeble battery pack the light does not show and keeps on cuting off so when i put my rechargeble battery pack in my controller it does not work so my mate told me to get a normal battery pack and put the charger lead into my controller and it will work as a wired controller but failed pleassseeee helppppp

I've had the same problem and the solution is simple: your battery pack or charge cable is dead, go buy a new one.
If it's an "Official xbox" charge kit, they're unfortunately well known for being DOA.
Judging by the fact that connecting the controller to the xbox with the charge cord and it still fails makes me thing it's the cord that's dead.

cheers mate,ive got round it anyway,ive brought 4 recharge batterys & charger dock,aint givin m$ anymore dollars lol
