Hi, I’ve no idea at all about driving wheels or the Xbox one, so hopefully someone can help me out.

My friend wants to get his kid a driving wheel setup (wheel, pedals and gearstick) along with wheel feedback and a frame. He tells me his budget is between €100-200. Seems like a pipe dream to me after looking at general prices on the web, but maybe there is a realistic option and some trade offs (no frame for instance).

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

You won't get the gear shift, I don't think, but Logitech does some really good wheels.

Superdrive - GS850-X appears to be exactly what you're after, and even in the price range? Reviews on it seem to be decent enough for use on console

The Superdrive - GS850-X only has vibration like a regular controller not proper force feedback and because of that racing games will read the wheel as a regular controller not a driving wheel. As far as logitech goes they have proper force feedback but they use gear driven force feedback so those wheels are very loud if sound is a problem for you. Compared to a belt driven force feedback style wheel you can feel the gears turning when you use the wheel.

I would reccomend a thrustmaster tmx if you want a force feedback racing wheel at a entry level price point. the gearstick is expensive for it but wheels come with gear shifters so you wouldn't need one right away.
