It really depends who's asking Robin Williams it seems.

I remember hearing about him naming her after LOZ because both him and his son were big fans,
but David Letterman had asked him quite a few years ago and he said he named her after
Zelda Fitzgerald, but since that's where Miyamoto got the name, I guess he was sort of straight about it.
