I had a failed nsp install before(dumped keys got corrupted somehow) you may have to go on the sd card in this case and delete the generated files to avoid having errors

Hey,
I've been working on an XCI installer for a while now and here it is.

It's a modded version of tinfoil that allows you to install XCIs.

Instructions:

1. Put your keys on the root of your sd called prod.keys (I recommend using kezplez to get the keys due to it formatting the keys correctly because weird formatting can mess it up)
   
2. To use it just place the XCI in /tinfoil/zerotwoxci/gamehere.xci

Precompiled binary is attached just drag and drop into your switch folder and run.

This does not work with atmosphere nor do I intend to target atmosphere as it requires the third system patch which lets you use use a program nca with a corrupt sig while the acid sig is fine. I had a way to patch the ACID sig but that was very very slow and I may redo it in the future but honestly it is not at the top of my list of things to do at the moment.

List of future updates:

• Do everything out of main XCI file without making new ncas to make SD corruption risk a lot lower
• FAT32/Split XCI support

Hello, i did everything like said ( keys renamed done with kezplez also using the zerotwoxci file provided so its the latest ) i have a FAT32 sd card im on firmware 6.0.1 and whenever i try to install an xci file it starts good and then after loading some keys i guess ( after literally 2 secs) it says xci header corrupt. magic was wrongFailed to install XCI! ... failed to open file /tinfoil/zerotwoxci/ncas . error code: 0x00000202. pls help me i already have the zerotwoxci.nro file provided in the thread. thanks a lot in advance

Hello everyone. I am trying to use ZeroToXci but I have not had any success. I followed the tutorials on this website with dump NAND, keys, etc., and have the keys named as prod.keys in the root of my SDCard. When I attempt to load the xci file it looks like it is importing the keys and decrypting everything. However, at the end I get this error message OpenFileSystemWithId:103: Failed to open file system with id. Error code 0x00234c02. I'm using the latest tinfoil and the latest ZeroToXci

Did I do something wrong? I dumped my keys using Kezplez, but I am on 6.0.1. Does anyone know what is going wrong?

i have split the files through xci splitter and booted my console using atmosphere 0.7
files extension are
.xc0 .xc1
but when i got to xcitwofoil for installing there is nothing showing in that folder
please help

It's strange. I do not get this error when I load the hekate payload and use tinfoil. I get this error when I load the ReinX cfw.

Thanks OP! I was initially getting an error when installin mario kart. Decided to try mario odyssey and that worked flawlessly!

I went from a 7gb xco file to a 5gb install?

Use usb install with tinfoil, so convert the xci to nsp and install with usb.

Thanks so much! This is a life saver. One question, I couldn't find it off Google, if you use this to basically install the game- can we delete the xci files then?
New to Switch, spent one night getting everything set up (tired...)

Edit: my key file was still txt format so I got rid of txt so it was an actual keys file, works perfect.

hey so i think i have the same problem i never had the .txt but when i right clicked on it it said it was still a text file how do i go about fixing it?

Hi Rick191 my key file is txt format how did you change the file ext as I cant get it to change and having the same issue with test.ini
Its ok sorted it
