A female colleague has called me doll and asked me how I was doing (on Whatsapp)

I am confused.

To add some context female colleague (F27) is reasonably attractive and I (M30), not reasonably attractive but no longer fat. She started here a little while ago and I've helped her out on some stuff. Her calling me 'doll' unsettles me.

Not asking for any advice but figured I'd share this inane anecdote with the internet.

That's a common thing people call women here in Scotland - it's not a bad term, it's just like calling someone petal or dear. Basically stop being a pussy and just be thankful that someone even cared enough to ask how you were doing.

Exactly as mrdude said doll is a term of endearment that Scottish men and women use . No different from saying honey ect.

Yeah, kinda weird to think about, but being fat is pretty much the most unattractive thing possible. When it comes to looks, statistically speaking, most everyone is sitting at or around average. So just don't be fat and, boom, you've got it made in the romance department (assuming you are relatively social).

That's not me fat-shaming, simply telling it like it is. I was fat once myself.

To provide some clarification:

I did respond.

I prefer the term 'Wuss' over pussy

I did not send a picture of my penis

My testosterone levels are surprisingly high

She is not Scottish

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
