A few moments ago, I found out...

that I enjoy listening to video game music than any others. Don't laugh at my tastes, please. I googled up some sites and I found a site that gives out a shit-load of albums. I don't know if this site is legal or not, though. I also found out that if I want to download all songs at once(which I like to do) I have to get people to click on a link. There's a link in my siggy. Anyway, does anyone else like listening to video game music? If so, from what games?

EDIT: Links from siggy are gone.

I'd imagine that falls under providing links to copyrighted material which is against the rules.

Nope! You quickly and without fuss removed them when you were told it was against the rules. :)

I love video game music as well.

I like the soundtracks of Square Enix's games the most. The World Ends With You and Final Fantasy 13 have really metal music, or music that can instantly make you cry.

Can we link to music on youtube?

Metal? Do tell. Or do you mean mental?

My computer tells me it has roughly 50GB of your so called "vidya gaem moosik".
No, I totally don't listen to that stuff at all. For reals.

Videogame music is really nice, i love all the Zelda music (and pretty much everything by Nintendo), the Square Enix music is cool too, and some other classics like the Korobeiniki (from Tetris) are really awesome...

I must admit I listen to the Orchestrated and Jazzed up tunes of Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright series) from time to time. I'm also a sucker for nice piano, guitar or band/orchestrated version of a Video Game song. I believe Video Game composers don't get given as much credit as they deserve. Some very smart and interesting arrangements come out of them, especially with the limitations in sound options e.g. the NES/SNES etc days.

Oh right, I always for get to plug this. 1up.com has a game music podcast called "Chiptuned" hosted by Ray Barnholt.
Average of like 25 minutes or so an episode of just pure video game music. He likes to span different decades of games and music, so it's awesome. Yeah.

Yesterday all I listened to was the Cave Story soundtrack.
I just couldn't be bothered listening to anything else.

I listen to video game music and the term 'chiptunes' for older music from older computer/console platforms. :)

Many years ago, I used to listen to C64 music a lot. It's something you'll likely grow out of as you get older, I know I did. Nothing wrong with it though.
